We believe pet health data belongs to you, not us. We do not and will never sell, rent, or share your personal or pet’s medical data with advertisers.

5. Permissions and Explanations
Camera
Purpose & Usage: To capture images of pets for diagnostic purposes (e.g., scanning eyes, ears, teeth for health insights)
Data Handling & Security: Images are encrypted during transmission and storage. Only user-selected images are processed.
Microphone (Record Audio)
Purpose & Usage: To record voice notes describing pet symptoms or concerns
Data Handling & Security: Voice recordings are encrypted and accessible only to authorized personnel for diagnostic purposes.
Storage (Read/Write)
Purpose & Usage: To save pet scan images/reports locally, upload existing photos/documents, and download health reports
Data Handling & Security: Only user-selected files are accessed. No scanning or collection of unrelated files or folders.
Location (if used)
Purpose & Usage: To personalize suggestions and comply with regional regulations
Data Handling & Security: Only approximate city/region is collected; not used for tracking or advertising.
All permissions are used exclusively for providing pet healthcare services. You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.
6. How We Use Your Data
To create and manage your account and authenticate users
To deliver personalized health suggestions and AI triage for pets
To route your case to human veterinarians if needed
To improve our AI’s diagnostic accuracy (using de-identified data)

8. AI Transparency
Your chats, voice notes, and image uploads help us train safer, smarter, and more emotionally attuned AI for pet healthcare. Training uses only anonymized or de-identified data. Internal reviewers cannot trace submissions back to you.
This app provides PET healthcare only, not human healthcare.

9. Children and Minors
Omelo does not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If we learn we have collected personal data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
