Ragdoll Health Guide

Ragdoll is the second most popular pedigreed cat in America, known for docile temperament. Lifespan: 12-17 years. Temperament: calm, gentle, placid, affectionate.

Ragdolls go limp when picked up. This does not mean they are comfortable or pain-free. They are stoic cats who may hide significant pain. Behavioral changes are often the only illness signal.

PKD management in Ragdolls costs $1,500-$5,000 annually in late-stage kidney disease.
