These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the digital properties, tools, and services provided by Omelo, a platform owned and operated by Pawtech Solutions Private Limited ("Omelo", "we", "us", or "our"). These include our website www.beomelo.com, our mobile application (the "App"), our AI-powered diagnostic systems, 24/7 vet triage features, and any other interfaces, features, or tools we make available via WhatsApp, Android, iOS, or future platforms (collectively referred to as the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years old or are using the platform under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or veterinarian.
• You agree to these Terms and to Omelo's Privacy Policy.
• If you are using the Services on behalf of someone else, you have the authority to act on their behalf.
Omelo is designed to operate as a guardian assistant — not a substitute for licensed veterinary medical care. While we use AI to guide, triage, and educate, our platform does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Privacy and Use of Your Information
By using Omelo's Services, you agree and consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of your data — including text, images, videos, audio, and diagnostic inputs — under the guidelines outlined in the Omelo Privacy Policy.
Your personal information, pet health history, veterinary interactions, and AI companion conversations may be securely stored and used:
• To personalise your experience
• To enhance diagnostic accuracy
• To improve the performance of our AI systems
• To provide better vet care coordination
• To develop new features and functionalities
Omelo follows Indian data protection laws and globally accepted ethical standards. We never sell your information, and we only share it when absolutely necessary for delivering our Services or if required by law.
Services Provided – No Veterinary Advice from Omelo
Omelo is built on the belief that AI-powered guardians can empower millions of pet and animal caregivers with instant, intelligent, and empathetic support — anytime, anywhere.
However, you must understand and agree to the following:
• Omelo does not offer licensed veterinary advice or treatment.
• You are solely responsible for how you act on the information received.
• Always consult a licensed veterinarian before making medical decisions, starting or stopping treatments, or acting on any AI-generated recommendation — especially in cases of injury, visible symptoms, distress, or suspected emergencies.
• AI is always learning — but not always perfect. Mistakes may still occur.
• Data from conversations and diagnostic flows may be used to improve the service.
• You must use Omelo responsibly and ethically.
In short: Omelo is your 24/7 pet guardian — not a vet. We support, empower, guide, and triage — but we do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe.
Registering for Omelo's Services
To access Omelo's AI Companion, Disease Scan, or Vet Support features, you are required to register using your name, mobile number, and optionally, email.
By registering, you agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Protect your account — you are solely responsible for all activity under your Omelo account.
• Age restrictions apply — Omelo is intended for users aged 18 years and above.

Acceptable Use Policy
Omelo exists to provide safe, ethical, and intelligent support to pet and livestock owners across India. You agree to follow these usage rules:
Illegal Use — You must not use Omelo for any unlawful activity.
Harmful Use — You may not use Omelo to create or distribute content that promotes self-harm, violence, or abuse toward animals or humans; encourages unethical veterinary practices; or intentionally spreads medical misinformation.
Abusive Content — Do not use Omelo to generate or share sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory content; hateful, casteist, or communal language; or shock-inducing materials.
System Tampering & Reverse Engineering — You may not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate Omelo's AI, disease scan models, or triage logic.
Automated Scraping — Manual or automated scraping, crawling, or indexing of Omelo's interfaces, APIs, or content is strictly prohibited.
Violations may result in temporary or permanent suspension, legal notice under Indian cyber law, or reporting to authorities.
Product Overview — Omelo Companion & Disease Scan
Omelo Companion — Your real-time, AI-powered, emotionally intelligent chat assistant. Built for multilingual, trust-building conversations that help decode symptoms, guide you to right actions, and escalate to vet support if needed. It is not a vet — it does not replace certified medical care.
Omelo Disease Scan — Upload a photo of your pet's affected area and get a diagnostic pattern match based on AI-trained datasets. Scan results are probabilistic — always confirm findings with a certified vet.
Not for Emergencies — If your pet is bleeding profusely, vomiting uncontrollably, suffering seizures, choking, unconscious, struggling to breathe, or showing signs of extreme distress — call your nearest vet or animal hospital immediately.
Intellectual Property
All content, designs, algorithms, copy, medical flows, AI conversational elements, and other intellectual property related to Omelo are owned by or licensed to Pawtech Solutions Private Limited.
You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use Omelo Services solely for personal, non-commercial use. Any unauthorized usage — including attempts to reverse engineer our AI models, scrape app data, or copy diagnostic logic — will be considered a breach of these terms and may lead to immediate legal action.
Disclaimer of Warranties
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. OMELO (PAWTECH SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED) EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY SHALL OMELO BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST SALES OR BUSINESS, LOST DATA, OR FOR ANY DIRECT DAMAGES, COSTS, LOSSES OR LIABILITIES IN EXCESS OF RS. 8,000.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Agreement
We encourage you to first reach out to Omelo Support in good faith at support@beomelo.com for any concern or issue.
In the unlikely event we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Omelo agree to the following binding arbitration agreement:
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Omelo's Services shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, governed by the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and conducted in English in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India, specifically the jurisdiction of Karnataka.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Omelo and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, demands, actions, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
• Your use or misuse of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms or the Omelo Privacy Policy
• The content or subject matter of any information you submit to Omelo
• Any negligent or wrongful conduct by you
Shipping and Refund Policy
Average delivery time is 5 days. Orders typically ship within 2–7 days, subject to destination pin code and operational conditions.

If your product arrives damaged or you have issues with the order, contact us and we'll attempt to resolve the concern. Refunds, if issued, will be processed within 4–5 business days from confirmation.
